Which Duomo di Milano ticket do you need?
Duomo di Milano tickets differ by what they include. The basic ticket covers the cathedral, the Museo del Duomo and San Gottardo, but not the roof. Roof tickets come by stairs or by lift, and the Combo adds the cathedral and museum on top. Since 1 April 2025, individual tickets have no extra online service fee, so regular tariffs are the same online and at the box office.
The prices below are the adult and reduced tariffs for 2026. They show what a ticket costs, not whether your date has free slots, so check availability when you book.

Our picks: Duomo tickets
Our take: the guided ticket with lift and museum is the full package; the cathedral and terraces ticket is the classic; the cathedral-only ticket fits if you skip the roof.

For most visitors, Combo Stairs at €22 is the simplest single ticket: church, roof and museum in one. Choose Combo Lift if the first set of steps is a problem, and the roof-only tickets if you have already seen the inside. The Culture Pass suits a visit without the roof but with the archaeological area and the Scurolo. Check the current reduced Culture Pass price and whether the museum and San Gottardo are part of a Combo before you go. Duomo Pass Lift and Duomo Pass Stairs are separate product names next to the Combo names, so read the contents of each before you pay.

Booking, validity and cancellation
The rules that catch visitors out.
Where to buy
Box offices are in the Sala delle Colonne at Piazza Duomo 14/A, and the museum box office at Piazza Duomo 12. Fast Track is sold online and seasonally. Tickets at the box office are not guaranteed on busy days.
Time slots
On Combo and Duomo Pass tickets, your booked time applies to the roof. On the Culture Pass and the cathedral and museum ticket, it applies to the cathedral. Arrival 30 minutes before or after is accepted at the staff's discretion, not as a promise.
Validity
Combo and Culture Pass are valid on the day of the visit and the next day, with one entry per area. The Ambrosiana combination is valid for 72 hours. The ticket shows the exact validity.
Cancellation and weather
There is no blanket free cancellation. A partly closed terrace does not trigger an automatic refund. Check the terms at checkout.
Groups with their own guide
Groups that bring their own guide must reserve through the group channel, not as individuals.
Dress code and security check
Short and practical.
In the cathedral, sleeveless or low-cut tops, shorts, miniskirts and hats are not allowed. Wear comfortable shoes for the roof paths. At the entrance, take metal items out of your pockets and open your bags. Suitcases, large bags and backpacks, helmets, glass or ceramic objects, weapons and drones are not allowed. Eating and drinking are not permitted, except water and medication, and animals are not admitted apart from assistance dogs.
